Carrie Nicol

Born and raised on the Northern Beaches, Carrie is a founding director of Karim + Nicol and has worked only in criminal defence since her admission.

A UNSW law graduate, she has appeared in the Local, Children’s, District and Supreme Courts in sentences, bail applications and defended hearings. She quickly identifies the legal issues that matter in your case, and draws on an established network of colleagues and barristers when particular expertise is needed.

Carrie knows being charged can be daunting, and prides herself on guiding clients through the system calmly and clearly. Practitioners and court staff know her as an effective, committed and compassionate advocate.
