Kris O’Brien

A Northern Beaches local, Kris brings more than two decades of criminal law experience, much of it from the other side of the bar table.

He began with the NSW Police as a detective on major murder and fraud investigations, receiving awards for his investigative work. He then prosecuted in Local Courts across NSW before joining the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, appearing in the Local and District Courts in sentence hearings and appeals.

That background gives clients a rare view of how a prosecution case is built, and Kris brings it to every criminal and traffic matter he runs.
